My police constable son in law is doing twelve hour shifts. Twelve hours. There are hardly any of them actually out there doing the job and he's one of them.
The same thing happened after the last lot of terrorist attacks in London. That time he got so physically worn out and stressed he got shingles.
All the while senior police officers, sitting behind their polished desks doing their £100,000+ jobs, tweet about how overstretched the police are. Yes indeed, but perhaps if we had a few less shiny pants top brass we might have a few more officers on the street.
As for the latest terrorist I see he is an Iraqi refugee. If I was in charge I'd load him into a cannon and see if would reach Iraq when he was fired out of it.
