Far right terror plots.

Postby Workingman » 27 Feb 2018, 14:28

The retiring head of the Met's counter-terrorism unit tells us that the UK has foiled four extreme far-right terror plots in the last year and that they were by Islamist-inspired groups.

This is political correctness gone mad. These were not far-right terror plots they were Muslim Islamist extremist terror plots. To conflate the two deflects responsibility from where it really lies.

The far-right is a political ideology that anyone from anywhere can join or leave at any time. Islam is a religion one is born into and can only safely be left on death. Its core teachings are counter to the values of the free West and its followers are indoctrinated into following them. The only similarity between the far-right and Islam is that neither of them has a single all-powerful head - they are hydras.

Yes, the UK does have its far-right extremists, but they appear to be taking their 'fight', as they see it, to Islam and Islamist groups. It is right that the police go after them with full force, but it is wrong to make out that they are at the same level of danger to the general population as Islamists are.

It upsets me too, mainly because it is massively dishonest to pretend that right wing terrorists in the UK are as prevalent or as deadly as the Islamic terrorism that the country has experienced, and that's before right wing terrorism and Islamic terrorism are deliberately confused.

It is politically directed imo.

Right wing terrorism attacks in the UK that I can remember are the London nail bomber David Copeland, who killed three people with his bombs in London in the late nineties. Thomas Mair (a man with a long and well documented history of mental illness) who murdered Jo Cox. Darren Osborne, the man who drove a van into worshippers outside a mosque, killing one of them and I think that's about it.

Set against that we have the 7/7 suicide bombers in London (who came from our part of the world WM) who killed fifty two people. The Manchester arena bomber last year who killed twenty three people, the London Bridge attack of June last year where people were run over and stabbed and eight people died, the Lee Rigby murder in 2013, the Westminster Bridge attack in March last year where six people were killed and the Parsons Green tube attack which injured twenty two people. Then there are all the other Islamist attacks that have been foiled by the police.

Also this is before we start looking at the Islamist terrorism in Europe like the Charlie Hebdo killings (twelve dead) and the Bataclan massacre (a hundred and thirty seven dead), Nice truck attack (eighty six dead) etc etc.

The authorities are trying to play up the big right wing bogey man as though they are as much a danger as Islamic terrorists. They aren't and it is patently absurd to pretend that they are, but the fallacy is pumped out continuously. It is also imo to place a subconscious link in people's mind to right wing parties and to smear them by association.

That and political idealism.
There are 10 types of people in the world:
Those who understand Binary and those who do not.
