Liars, cheats and lawbreakers.

Who might they be?
Well, Vote Leave and other Leave campaigners.
We had the Boris bus and other myths pushed to the fore. We had Aaron Banks, chief bank-roller and major campaigner for Leave claims, in his book, that the campaign "led voters up the garden path". And now we have the electoral Commission (EC) about to accuse the Leave campaign of breaking election law during the 2016 referendum.
Make no mistake, these things are important. Matthew Elliott, former chief executive of Vote Leave, has published the EC paper in an attack is better than defence move before it has even been made public. All it would take now is for another Gina Miller to ask the Courts to define whether the breaking of electoral laws is sufficient to have the Brexit referendum declared null and void... and then we would all be in a whole lot deeper 5h1t than we are at present. We are already up to our necks.

Do you believe the Remain campaign was whiter than white? I have no evidence to the contrary, but maybe it's time we scrutinised it as closely as the Leave campaign. Not least the influence exerted by Big Business, the Media and "interferers" like Obama who acted at the behest of whom, exactly?

The report is not about what Remain is accused of or might have done, but what Leave actually did, and no amount of deflection by Brexiteers is going to change that.
The EC is an official body with the legal authority to carry out investigations into the running of elections and referendums and that is what it has done.
If any of you Brexiteers have something on Remain regarding breaking election laws then get yourselves down to the Courts and do a Gina Miller. It is an option open to anybody.

This argument is getting beyond me.
Leavers have stated clearly why they want to leave the E.U.
I'd Like the Stayers to say why they want to stay.

Aggers, this not about what Leave or Remain voters believed, it is about the main Leave campaign breaking electoral laws.
If this goes suib judice all Brexit bets are on hold. Nobody, not even MPs, parliament or the EU, can say anything about the case otherwise they risk being held in contempt of court. If there is a challenge the Supreme Court will probably have to give a legal judgement. That judgement, whichever way it goes, could then be appealed. We have about nine months to go before Brexit is enacted and any time lost will pile disaster upon disaster.
This case has the potential to put the mockers on the already disastrous Brexit negotiations and I am not one bit happy about that. Both sides, us more than them, desperately need to get moving and this kind of thing does not help.

If anybody, Gina Miller or otherwise, tries to pull a stunt like that now, it's entirely at their own risk.
There will be a backlash in this country from the Leavers like you've never seen before.

It is a strange old world.
When there are allegations of vote rigging by certain communities there is uproar and cries that something must be done, even hold another election.
Yet when one side is found breaking the law in a binary referendum....
I thought that we had one law for all.

I have no idea if anything underhanded has taken place either with the Leave campaign or Remain campaign. If the law has been broken it will come to light, as these things usually do. I just wonder how many people have been influenced by any skulduggery that may or may not have occurred. I have a strong feeling it has not influenced the average voter one bit, despite the background noises from both sides.
We were promised a referendum, we got it, we made our choice, I believe straight from the heart from both sides. That is why the result was so close. We need to get the best deal we can for this country now.
