Fake news 101.

As presented by our politicians and MSM.

Today we have a Brexit deal. Huzzah!

But wait.

We have an informal agreement on a draft text on the political declaration (not legally binding) that has been agreed in principle.

It is NOT a concrete deal. it is a hope, one of many, that a deal can be agreed - maybe, possibly, with a bit of luck, at some time. Any 'deal' then has to get past the EU 27 and the Commons, and we are a long way from that.

It is long past the time for the media to stop treating us all as fools.

On the subject of the EU Frank, the only time we haven't been treated like fools is when we are being lied to.

So, with that, the truth is absent almost 100% of the time, and the media and politicians wonder why they are universally despised.

Really WM, we don't like them that much...

We do, indeed have the text of a deal. The deal is how much it will cost us to remain in the single Market until Dec 2020 and what constraints it puts us under in order to get that.

If you are going to lie to the people it is best if you have a kernel of truth to the lie.

Why are the EU even allowing that when the treaties no longer apply and the UK is no longer in the EU? Because it will take them that long to get their own businesses ready for UK EU trade barriers.

This is not difficult to understand.
