Is the Johnson's world falling apart?

First he avers that the UK will leave the EU on the 21st Oct deal or no-deal "do or die".
This causes disquiet among MPs who are sure he will carry through and there are mumblings in the ranks about stopping him.
His next step is to prorogue parliament to get his way, but this is against the wishes of just about everyone.
So, MPs then introduce a motion to take control of the Commons agenda and it is supported across the house. One MP resigns and 21 others have the whip withdrawn and are deselected.for siding with the opposition.
MPs then pass a law forcing the PM to seek an extension to A50, the Lords agree and it now awaits Royal Assent.
Meanwhile the PM tries to force a GE under the rules of the fixed term act and it fails.
He then makes it known that he will try again on Monday but the opposition have made it clear that it will go the same way as his first attempt. The PM then made the statement that he would "rather be dead in a ditch" than ask for a delay,
This is seen as him saying that he will break the law, so MPs are looking at the legal implications with experts saying the PM could go to prison if he refuses to comply with the new law. A legal team has been set up and is willing to go to court to enforce the law to avoid no deal, if necessary.
And now Amber Rudd has resigned from cabinet and the Conservatives.
Things are not going to the Johnson / Cummings script are they?
