Gun reform in Germany?

Postby cromwell » 20 Feb 2020, 09:09

Ten or eleven dead in attacks on Shisa bars in Hanau, Germany.
The will now be calls for gun "reform" in Germany. Ie, you can't have one any more.
What is never asked is why such attacks happen in the first place.

The Germans can reform the gun 'laws' as much as they like but reforming the potential users and the 'market' will be a different matter. The former East Germany was awash with old Warsaw Pact weapons with the fall of Berlin Wall. They didn't simply melt away in the first democratic spring weather.

Having strong laws is one thing, having control is another thing entirely.
