I would just like to say that Jeremy Clarkson had the right idea about Piers Morgan.
Although usually opposed to violence I would make an exception for Britain's number one rent a mouth, the permanently outraged Piers.

I don't know either of them so I couldn't give a stuff what they think of each other. There are more pressing things, like clipping my toenails, to be getting on with.

It's difficult to know which is more depressing, the rent a mouths or the prophets of doom fronting up the BBC …..

I think at least we should all be encouraged to do jobs around the house to keep ourselves active and mentally alert. But no, according to the Daily Mail, buying paint in order to paint the kitchen is on the list of non-essential items which you cannot buy.

It's an intrpretation of the law: The Health Protection (Coronavirus, Restrictions) (England) Regulations 2020, done by the CPS and handed down to the police.
I have read through that act a few times and nowhere does it mention crisps, bars of chocolate, masking tape, gloss paint, closing parks, sitting on a bench or any other individual item. It is so loosely worded that it can be interpreted in any which way.
What we now have are snowflake, quango, think-tank, focus group interpretations based on their own social media echo chamber experiences. No analysis, nothing practical just "feelings" that they are right.
