Get the spliffs, the Red Bull and voddy out.....

Postby Workingman » 02 Mar 2021, 17:14

BBC 3 is coming back to TV.

According to the PR release It is aimed at the 16 - 34 age group of viewers. But this is the very age group that streams, has Netflix, Prime and Disney, and does not need a TV licence, so do not chip in.

It was taken off air because it was full of woke, slapstick, BAME, LGBT agenda stuff and unfunny comedies that nobody was interested in.

Meanwhile back on the BBC's "flagship" channels, the ones we mugs pay for and hope to be entertained on, here are tonight's offerings:

BBC1: The One Show - EastEnders - Holby City - Medics: Why Is Covid Killing People of Colour? - BBC News at Ten - Look North - Weather....

BBC2: Inside the Zoo - Interior Design Masters - DNA Family Secrets - The Ranganation - Newsnight....

Thank goodness for Freeview.

If the BBC went PPV it would fold in days.

It makes no sense to me. It’s not like it actually disappeared, it’s been available online (and gave a chance to one of the best comedies this century, This Country) and like you say, the age group it’s aimed at are the ones who’d look online rather than flicking through the channels.

Great choice there tonight Frank, looks like another Netflix or Prime night.

While we’re on the subject of the BBC, why do they not use one of their channels for sport rather than showing it on the main channels. Take Wimbledon for example. It’s on for hours on end, going between BBC 1 and 2, and overrunning which then messes up the whole schedule on those channels.
