This Twitter nonsense.

I am beginning to wonder if Twitter pays outlets to mention it - and how much?
There was a time when leading figures, politicians and even the irrelevant Celeberatti once "said" things. No more. They now tweet or had / have tweeted.
President Trump didn't say.... he tweeted.
The Queen... tweeted.
The PM... tweeted.
The Pope.... tweeted
And it is not enough that they tweeted, we absolutely must have what they tweeted in plain language followed by a screen shot of the tweet.
The latest nonsense is this non-news story on the BBC's World News page! Cop for that tweet, it makes perfect sense, eh?
It was once novel, but it is now tiresome. People say things all the time, and that's fine, but we do not need to know the platform used, especially if there are payments being made.
Try this for the perfect example.
