This is the one thing the government has done really well in the pandemic, the vaccine process.

It is #1 on the critical list for getting out of this mess. It HAS to be done well. Lockdowns, isolation, they cripple businesses and don't work effectively as an end to the pandemic.

It has been 100% clear from the beginning that this pandemic will end when everyone has antibodies. Or at least 90% of the world. There are two ways of getting the antibodies. Get the virus or get the vaccine. As the cost of getting the virus is unacceptable to the modern world, getting the vaccine is the other option.

When all is said and done; the one main measure of how the pandemic was handled comes down to inoculation. Those who did well at vaccines did well. Those that did not, did not. If you are going to focus on something and get it right, this is the one.
