Prince William the Hypocrite.

A man with one of the largest personal CO2 footprints on the planet, and whose family is also complicit, set up something called the 'Earthshot Prize'. He did it so that, in his words, he could look his children in the eye and say he "did [his] bit" in the fight against climate change.

No, he hasn't done his bit, he did it to make himself look good in the media and to assuage his conscience.

The Monarchy media is all over this making him out to be a hero. He isn't, he's a user.

He is not alone. The Gates's, Gores, Branson's, Bezos', and their ilk play the game, while the ordinary John and Jane do the heavy lifting.

They make me sick.

Forget the hypocrisy element - if you want to target someone, then target O'Leary and all the other travel moguls who have now got their wish to start unnecessarily transporting the masses on unnecessary vacations to destinations where there is no guarantee of immunisation and no guarantee there is not a Covid mutant waiting. They are the people that make me sick - and possibly in reality rather that metaphorically.

If you are concerned about climate change as well as the pandemic, those are the people, along with the Government, who should be castigated. (In my view, of course :) )

Bill and Kate made no mention of the Covid pandemic. His 'Earthshot Prize' is about CO2 and climate change, yet he and his family are some of the worst contributors. It has nothing to do with pandemics or epidemics - it's gases.

Me, and my sort, your and sort, individually create only a fraction of CO2 per capita compared to William, Kate and family, but we are told by them that we are the problem!.

Give it a rest, Bill.... get a real job.

I think we are heading for a more authoritarian and elitist world, unfortunately. One in which the global jet setting elite hector us relentlessly whilst travelling hither and thither in their private jets and limos.
They are important you see, and we are not.
I hear what you say Os, but it will be increasingly difficult to persuade Joe Soap to forego his fortnight in Corfu when confronted with the hypocrisy described by WM.
