Our PM is not worried by the employment gap causing supply shortages in many sectors - food, fuel and others. Nor is he worried by the tax hikes he is introducing or prices rises - inflation. He actually said so on TV.
Well he wouldn't be, would he? He is, independently, a multi millionaire, and a PM on a decent wage. In his second role he does not have to worry about the weekly and monthly problems these things cause for the low paid and those on fixed incomes, but does he care? No! His expenses are covered by us.... and other donors.
And still poorer people support him!
His security costs (to us) must rise every time he opens his mouth.

Yeah, but nobody wants his job and he knows it. It is a no win situation. There is simply no way of getting out of Covid and Brexit with a whole skin. Bojo knows this so he's going to say and do whatever he can get away with and whatever the "oh so supportive" party, that stabbed May to death one cut at a time, will stand.
A little over 3 more years. Let's see if Labour has managed to become a real opposition instead of a bad joke.

I agree, disgusting individual. He demonstrates no care and no compassion. He has no real conception of what he is saying and how it comes across to other people. Everything he utters is gabbled garbage; he is simply untrustworthy.
This really is a "Devil take the hindmost" Government now.
You know, Sunak had a golden opportunity at the Party Conference to show care and compassion by announcing that the £20 Universal Credit uplift would remain until at least March 31st to help get poor people through the Winter.
He blew it. And then Johnson spouts today's crass nonsense.
I will not vote Tory. But neither will I vote Labour, even if they do get a new leader or get their act together before then next election. They have too much anti-Semitic Socialist baggage ever to be trusted in power.
I'm completely disengaged from UK politics these days.

For me this is not political, it's personal.
As a pensioner I am on a fixed income. I cannot work extra hours - what I get is what I get. Every single damned thing I do in my life comes out of my income, including income and council tax. I do not get a chauffeur, subsidised meals, free accommodation, free transport, wallpaper, banquets or theatre tickets.
So, when inflation and prices go up they hit me hard, just as they do the millions of the poorest paid and those on UC. And yet here we have some fat moron saying that we are all OK.
I wonder how much his security protection costs.... it must go up substantially every time he opens his mouth.

The political classes have no idea of how ordinary people live, or what their concerns are.
We had Javid yesterday going on about how social care should "start with the family". Yes Mr Javid, been there, done that. But in the end a 93 year old with vascular dementia needs more, and when that point came he had to pay out of his own pocket for it.
"The welfare state, care from cradle to grave" eh? I think not.
Then we have Carrie Johnson rabbiting on about Boris being totally committed to gay rights or whatever. OK, very worthy I'm sure but gays, like the trans, are a minority.
Waht about the rest of us?
Higher wages, good. Inflation when you're on a fixed income and can't work? Very much not so good.
Boris only seems to have one policy when a problem rears it's head - throw money at it (unless it is the elderly).
NHS? Put taxes up. Social care? Put taxes up. Put NI contributions up.
Problems with the channel "migrants"? Pay the French £50 million to do something.
We need better than this.

We don't matter, mainly because we do not act.
The likes of Raab, Patel, Grayling, Schapps, Hancock, Truss, Rees-Mogg, Johnson et all will all be re-elected come the next elections. That's the problem. We are part of the problem.

He is a horrible man, a proven liar and philanderer. Why people think he's fit to run this country beats me
