... well, this takes the biscuit:
Wales will issue fines to workers who refuse to work from home without a good reason.
From Monday, employees will be handed a £60 fixed penalty notice and companies will face a £1,000 fine for each time the rule is broken, rising to a potential £10,000.
The new health protection restrictions will make it an offence for 'failing to work from home where reasonably practicable to do so'.

I am surprised this has not caused more of a stir than it has with the unions, opposition parties, TUC, the press and even the people.
Everyone is mumbling but it appears to be a done deal.
There was a time when this would have lead to a general strike and mass protests.

When the firts lockdown was in force, I was having some electrical work done in the house.
I asked the electrician why he was not working from home
He said he did not have a screwdriver long enough!!
What the order should say any office worker.
There are a lot of jobs which cannot be done from home. My bin has just been emptied--WFH?

Politicians aren't normal people.
They love telling people what to do, as this clown is showing; the pandemic has given them a chance to grant themselves even more power to order people around and they won't give it up.
