site has posted a drone fly through of the factory in action.

I find it fascinating. I also wonder how many Drones they trashed to produce it....

That sent me a bit dizzy tbh. It did strike me as being an extremely clean factory, even a bit surgical.
I saw a red Tesla the other day, only the second one I've noticed in that colour

I've now seen about 10 Tesla here in Lincolnshire alone. I've seen a red one from time to time. Mostly you see Black or White. This is because white was originally the default colour with no extra cost then black became the default. As a lot of these vehicles are company fleet, the choice tends to be the default.

The factories are highly automated so not many humans to go around messing them up. Shanghai looks really clean too. Fremont no so much so but Fremont is an old GM factory from the 50's which was Toyota and then Tesla. They'd need to flatten it and start again to get the same level of shine.

Texas is that clean in the production areas but is only about 20% built out inside. As they build out Texas the same shine will flow throughout.

I remember reading about the McLaren factory in the UK where everything in it was literally polished to a shine and the cars moved through a pristine clean environment. I guess the only way to ensure the vehicle emerges pristine and clean out the end of the line.

Explanations as to how it was done.
