Channel migrants

It is being reported that the daily migrant crossing is the highest it has ever been today at around 600. Goodness knows what the answer is to the increasing number of illegal immigrants who are landing on our shores. Certainly putting them up in hotels does not seem to be the answer as many of them melt into the background presumably to join the black economy. I was watching the Press Preview on Sky news a week or so ago and one of the commentators was of the opinion that there is no such thing as an illegal immigrant and that anyone who comes to this country for any reason has the right to claim asylum by law. I am not sure how many people on low incomes, who are now struggling to keep their heads above water and with no end in sight in the foreseeable future and beyond, would agree with the huge sums of taxpayers money being used to house and provide pocket money for the large numbers of immigrants who arrive in the UK on a daily basis.

Illegal - send them back from whence they came - France, Belgium, Netherlands, Spain, Italy.

They have passed through "safe" countries to get to EU / UK shores, according to International law, so just send them back. No Rwanda needed

As has been well documented Frank, some of these illegal immigrants are throwing their phones and documentation away before they are picked up and escorted to the UK by the authorities. What a shambles this is. They are disappearing before they have even been processed. Many I am sure are genuine but without documentation who knows who we are allowing into the UK. We have no idea if they are criminals or terrorists. Words fail me.

Sunak, who knows none of them or how many there are here, says that they are not "bad". Work that one out;

They came here illegally, so by definition they are 'bad' or am I missing something?
