That's it, we've finally lost the plot

Why?
in today's Telegraph it states that "UK Negotiators" (no names, notice), are backing a last minute agreement to discuss "Loss and damage" for countries badly affected by climate-related disasters.
This is barking mad. Why? What do we owe these people?
If we are going to talk about reparations how about we go after Pakistan for the grooming gangs and suicide bombers? Or Albania for taking so many of their criminals?
Or maybe just look at all the third world countries with exploding populations who are providing far more people than they can feed, educate, care for or house? How much is their overpopulationt damaging the planet? And Europe, who are expected to take all of their spares?
We are led by a political class that cares immensely for the rest of the world, but does not give a toss about it's own people.
