Strange goings on in Canada

We've not only had the rather alarming example of the truckers convoy, where trucker's bank accounts were frozen because they were protesting against the government, there's all sorts of stuff going on there now.
Canada has legal euthanasia under the MAID program. You can put your hand up for the government to help you into the next world if you are physically ill. But also from the 17th of March this year, if you are mentally ill as well. Bit of slippery slope here. Are you mentally ill or just a bit depressed? You could end up with a permanent solution to a temporary problem.
But also the Canadian government has issued health advice that you should only have two alcoholic drinks a week. OK, it's a point of view. But at the same time the government of British Columbia has legalised the posession and use of heroin. You can actually shoot up in the street and the police won't touch you. This despite the fact that there were 2,272 drug deaths last year in British Columbia.
Canada's wokeism also extends to the original inhabitants of Canada (same in New Zealand and Australia, btw). First Nation people (as they are called) rioted the other year and burned down sixty eight Churches in Canada. This came after "evidence of genocide" was found at homes for First Nation people run by the Church back in the day.
Problem, yes, graves were found. But no evidence of genocide. Prime Minister Trudeau said that the burnings were "understandable".
I can't say I like any of this. Government authoritarianism, euthanasia, legalisation of heroin and anti-white rhetoric isn't for me.
