I am having the bathroom refurbished so have not had water or CH for a few days so have used the local Greggs. I always pay cash as it is not worth using contactless for a coffee and sausage roll.

It's all the work of Vladimir Putin imo.
He is trying to bring this country to it's knees by denying us access to our sausage rolls!

Not sure I've ever been in one, although there is always a queue outside the one in town. I use my debit card for almost everything  :?

The caviar, venison and wildfowl (grouse, pheasant) shops don't seem to be much affected. I wonder why that is?

Communism for the plebs... something else for "them"? Sausage rolls at £1.20 a go and £3 or more for a coffee. Give me strength.

I can turn out sausage rolls for about 30p to 35p each - including pastry and cooking - with meat from the butchers.

OK, I have to make the pastry, simple, it takes no time, and then make and cook them. It's hardly a chore. Tens for the price of a few bought ones.

Coffee. A big jar of good quality stuff, Dowe Egbert's, for about £6 makes how many cups? Or get ground coffee for that 'Barista' sensation and you are well in.

That's good for you but I can't make pastry, goes to goo because my hands are red hot most of the time.
