Sanctuary for Afghans

I am delighted to learn that those Afghans who have laid their lives on the line for this and previous governments will be given sanctuary here in the UK.. "Time governments realised no one gets anything for nothing," and to even contemplate not allowing them and their families the safety (such as it is) of this country was an outrageous decision.. It has been seen that our borders have been open to anyone, the good the bad and the evil and to even contemplate refusal of their applications was in my opinion an outrage.

Apparently we can go to war, kill thousands of citizens and we won't import terrorism. But if we import the families of the leaders who supported us we will.

Well I always said the Foreign office was inundated with Labour supporters. It's also inundated with non-indigenous UK citizens, if you read the press closely and take an interest in what people are saying. I was working with a Patel a few years back. He was telling me "The Patels are a very powerful force in the Civil Service". To even say that is so against what Britain should stand for that it should beggar belief.

Sadly it does not.

Terrible.. We only have to look at the destruction we have created in Iraq, factions always had their differences when I lived there, but there was never the murder and deaths and destruction the country is suffering since B'Liars illegal invasion.. Regarding the Patels, twenty years ago a close Muslim friend told me that we would surrender all our powers
to the Muslim community and that they will dominate the country and our every move.. It is happening.. "Slow but sure"

It is absolutely right that we help these interpreters, but wasn't it supposed to be a Global war on terror? Just because the US and UK put most boots on the ground shouldn't mean that we have to pick up all the tabs. Other countries were involved without ever sending troops, don't they have a duty to help with the aftermath?

At least we are going to do the honourable thing and allow some of the interpreters to claim asylum here.

Far better them than the wretched Abu Potato and his ilk ......

But look at the time it has taken, the same situation arose in Iraq I do not know whether those working for the army there have been given sanctuary. What infuriates me is that any crap can enter this country with impunity, in lorries you name it they get here, they are welcomed and given cash to get to Croydon and advice on how to claim asylum. Another point I would like to make whilst I am at it is the fact that the military (who said they made a mistake) having been sending 17 year old boy soldiers to Afghanistan..
What a shambolic bunch we have in high places.
