Has a taste for a bit of history we have a 295 year old pub here in Gosport ,used by non other than that famous sailor called Nelson

Nelson was not born when the pub opened, so it it unlikely that he would have ever drunk there, coming from Norfolk.

But rumour has it that the pub is selling that same old beer, but not at 1730 prices.

Well according to Google and Wikipedia the pub was built in 1730 which according to my maths was 28 years before he was born,and as he spent a lot of his naval career in Portsmouth he probably did drink there.
We also have a cafe that was built around the same time ,does a very nice full English breakfast
