And it is not an extra £60 million, it's an increase to £60m from £47m under the Illegal Migration Act of 2023 brought in by the Tories, so not much more than inflation.

Labour sold a story about the super wealthy owning all the money and they were going to "get it back".

The super wealthy do not own all the money and, even better, they can leave and take it with them.

Those who own even more of the money can't leave and can't avoid taxes. But Labour told them they would not be impacted.
