Cell therapy

I was interested to read about stem cell therapy being used for stroke victims. originally pioneered in 1912 by Dr Kuhnau
In the 60's my brother in law (who was stationed in Germany) was diagnosed with terminal cancer on his return to UK, he was in his 40's..
I had read a very interesting article of the pioneering work of Dr Paul Niehans, whose Clinic was in Vevey Switzerland following which I persuaded my spouse to drive there to see whether I could obtain a lifeline for him.
It was unheard of to get a meeting with Paul Niehans in those days as he had retired.... however I did so ;) at his residence.
He was lovely showed us over the clinic (hospital) explaining the miracles obtained through his work.
He explained the procedure's of the cell therapy taken from the fetus of unborn lambs.. There was hope he said if the patient had been given over three months to live.. I saw Lady and Lord Docker at the clinic and an American film star whose name escapes me.. famous for his Westerns, a survivor thanks to the miracle of this therapy.
I returned with the vaccines over the moon, however his wife refused to allow him to have them and sadly he died an agonising death almost eight months later .
I am delighted that stem cell therapy is being used it could be used in so many areas. It is nothing new.

Stem cells are now being used to help recover stroke victims.

This miracle science has been know about for decades and yet it was prevented by law from being studied in any practical way by a (religious) moral crusade. Thankfully, slowly but surely, we are leaving the Dark Ages behind.

I agree Frank, this science is nothing new.. I often wonder whether the use of it has been deliberately withheld.. A clinic in Bavaria all part of Paul Neihan's pioneering work carries on, and I am quite sure that these methods are used in Japan and China for those able to pay.
