A couple of questions.

1. If a group of private individuals hire an hotel for a weekend get together who should pay for the security?
2. Should the local police be able to close roads around the venue asking for photographic ID and a valid reason of those wishing to enter the cordon - even of those who are resident within?
I am asking because the Bilderberg Group: bankers, businessmen, former and current politicians and some Royals, are in town. And although it is a private meeting of private individuals local council tax payers are being denied free access to their homes, and us UK tax payers are picking up the security tab.
