Harman and Co.

Well Miliband says he knows nothing about Union members being thrust into areas??
He is not fit for purpose is he?
So has he not been aware of the fact that Jack Dromey was a Trade Union Baron, deputy general secretary of the Transport and General workers Union before becoming Labour Treasurer and MP.
Six seeming highly qualified black candidates were by passed in favour of Joe Dromey their son was selected last week to stand for Lewisham..
Politics not corrupt "You must be joking"
Miliband is weak, a liar, and not fit to organise a ***** in a brewery. And really there is little to recommend any of these self serving liars whatever party they might represent they don't represent the people they represent their ego and themselves.

There is a malodorous pong of hypocrisy hanging over all this.

Labour has been given an easy ride in the media over its parachutist's charter, whereby central office imposes its favoured candidate over the wishes of the local constituency. I wonder why that is? Is it because all parties do it? Yet whenever anyone tries to overturn such impositions the shouts ring out "foul!", "illegal!".

The media analysis of this fiasco has done democracy no favours, and I hope that many local organisations will see that and start to fight back against imposed candidates from head office.

Haven't they just?!
The story about Unite "fixing" candidates is back to front - the London Labour party has been doing this for years and no-one's batted an eyelid! Why the howls of rage and fury now that someone is trying to do the same back to them?
Interesting point about Hattie Harperson, Kate. So if this is true she's a Labour MP, her husband is a Labour MP and her son is a prospective Labour councillor. Miriam O'Reilly, former BBC presenter and big mate of Hattie Harperson, is also trying to become a Labour MP!
Nepotism and cronyism as well!
And NOT ONE WORD about this on our TV news; it is an absolute scandal.
The BBC likes Hattie though; if this were Cameron, do you think that the BBC would stay so quiet?

I see that Ed is now making it even harder for the ordinary man and woman to challenge head office - he is removing automatic membership of Labour when being a member of a union. Members will now have to opt-in.

The other parties cannot shout too loud though, as they also run similar schemes to get their PC, positively discriminated, mates from school/business/Uni, installed as candidates in the safest seats.

Democracy? Do't mek me laff.

If union member's don't decide to opt-in then Miliband can kiss goodbye to an awful lot of money..

I am thinking that those who do choose to opt-in will have a cast-iron legitimate and legal reason for fighting for a local candidate, or union stooge, and not the head office lackey.

That would certainly be an improvement. They'd have to do away with the current system first; where candidates supply their CV to the Labour party in London, who then send the local party a list of people they are allowed to vote for! Milibean hasn't mentioned anything about that, I notice.

It was interesting if nauseating watching PMQ's yesterday. And Harriet Harman's outraged protestations and smirks aimed at the Conservatives party when the infiltration for the Commie Union boys into government was being discussed and given MP status, and now her son .
Fine example of a sick hypocrite when Commie Dromey has already been installed
