SQAINTS AND SCROUNGERS

This is a programme I watch from time to time. This morning a blind man was desperate for help and it took a great deal of time to get that help
I note that the majority of Scroungers they put on are foreigners, the fraudsters this morning as most days on the programme is on are black and foreign like the S. African dentist who took off back to his country when caught out leaving his partner a German to take the flack.. The German got off lightly inspite of their massive fraud and deception.
Sentences metered out are generally no more that twelve months more often than not suspended! regardless of the fraud and theft that often runs into hundreds and thousands.
Great country to live in. :x

I watched this this morning whilst having my breakfast but it was a different programme!

It was on at about 7.30am and showed the two dentists who were charging for private work and also NHS. It didn't say what happened to them in the end. It also showed a man who was claiming to be very disabled with arthritis but in fact was boxing and working as a bouncer. He had to pay back around £22,000 and got a suspended sentence. Then there was a boy with autism who had managed to get himself an apprenticeship with a rail company.

I wonder if there is one on later in the morning that is longer - this was about 30 minutes long. I'm sure it was 7.30am to 8am.

Debih perhaps you were watching an old repeat on BBC2? BBC Breakfast is on BBC1 at that time.......

I think the one Kate watched was on BBC1 later on, about 11ish maybe?

Kate I am usually busy doing housework or getting ready to go out at that time of day, but have caught a bit of it now and again. The scroungers part of the programme is infuriating but they do catch them out, which has to be a good thing? ;)

They do catch them out dear Kaz, but their sentences are laughable.

But to put them in prison just means that the tax payer is paying out more in the end.

(And yes the one I was watching was on BBC2 so must have been a repeat).

Debih, money is removed from UK by these fraudsters, bank accounts set up from here to eternity. I would put them in balls and chains, working everyday cleaning our filthy streets and at those sewers that are all in the news at the moment.
