Medics may face jail.

This follows on the heels of the news that social workers could face jail for failing to follow Court orders.

The rules will apply to those who are found guilty of wilful neglect. Fair enough, but why is it always frontline staff who get hit the hardest?

The latest NHS scandal at Colchester has led to the hospital being put in special measures after it breached its licence to provide health services. Any resignations or sackings? Far from it, the Board that oversaw its descent into special measures is still in place. No doubt once it rises to 'adequate' there will be plenty of back-slappping and promotions all round.

Why, indeed?

I always say that those at the top are the ones to blame.
They should know what's going on in their organisation.

Perhaps what is needed is to enforce the GOYA system. (Get Off Your Arse - and go and see what's going on.)

It was a disgrace that the Top dog in Stafford is still in a "top position" all these chancer's are promoted for failure.
I saw him being Questioned, what a farce. And now there is a drive to get nurses, carer's etc from Romania and Bulgaria to work here.
Having seen the way they treat the handicapped in care, the mere thought of them being
Employed in UK, should sound alarm bells.
