Yesterday my 75 year old friend and neighbour came to me very distressed,
She had spent around two hours in Leominster. Police station following reporting the fact her bank account was robbed by two Eastern Europeans who stood by her as she drew money from the cash machine, the fellow asked her if she could let him have a £1.00 in exchange for a £2.00 coin. She stated she only had one pound "that's great"said he.
He then offered to carry her bags to her car. She thought how kind they were....She then discovered that he and the woman he was with had withdrawn £250.00 from her account.
We have two or more million of these Eastern Europeans due to arrive. The police offered her counselling. ! !

Think something of this nature has been happening in Paris recently. Think it is a scam going on over European cities mainly by East Europeans.

I think you might be right about the 'scam' part Kathy. These scams rise and fall like the tides and the perpetrators are very clever in their operation.

My friend said they were well dressed, he carrying an umbrella, almost charming, with very good English. Terrible what this country has sunk too.

It isn't just Eastern Europeans though - the British do it as well.
