I see that they are having serious problem at the Australian Open Tennis Tournament, due to
the excessive temperatures they are now experiencing.

It's not rocket science, but why don't those involved all wear white clothing. Wearing dark clothes
in hot climates is asking for trouble.

I agree up to a point Aggers, but when temperatures are at 40C (108F) white clothing, any clothing, can only do so much.

I worked in the Arabian desert for a while and when it gets that hot all one wants to do is sit in the shade and spritz with cold water. Running about chasing a ball, no matter what shape or size, is the last thing on your mind.

Maybe this will prove to be the kick up their fundaments that the idiots in FIFA need. They want to run a football tournament - The World Cup - in Qatar in similar temperatures.

Totally agreeing with you both - the football in Qatar in particular, to my mind, is sheer lunacy! :?
