..... compliments of David and Theresa: ammunition.
For the past ten years average immigration growth has seen a new Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester introduced to the UK - population wise. The government wanted to reduce that to just a new Birmingham in the next ten years by only allowing 100,000 of them in per year, but guess what? Yes, it has failed. The rate is another new Birmingham, Leeds and Manchester in the next ten years.
Budge up everyone......

There's plenty of room up on the moors here WM.
I seem to remember some talk about building a new big town somewhere up here a few years ago.

We have an economic system which says - the bigger the population, the better. As long as that holds good we will always have a housing crisis.
Remember Skelmersdale and Milton Keyenes? They were supposed to "solve" the housing crisis of the day.
And every mainstream politician will ALWAYS lie to you about immigration.
There will be hell on with this; because it's no use building houses where there are no jobs.
So even more of the south east will be going under concrete forever very shortly.

Why not convert some of the large houses into flats which have been empty for years in Central London. Some councils are making the owners of small houses which have been unoccupied to release them for occupation.

Converting buildings into housing in order to cope with the crisis is not the point. If there were not so many of us there would not be a crisis in the first place!
We cannot keep on growing the population: it is madness!
We need to stabilise the population, or even reduce it. There are plenty of us here already to make it much more productive than it actually is. That would make things much better for us as individuals; and also for the environment, social cohesion and our overall well-being.

We are sinking under sheer numbers - it has to stop!
