There is no way I will vote for any MP in any party other than Farage who we know has equally filled his coffers in Europe.but inspite of this I will vote for him with the hope that not before time "Westminster crumbles."
Remember the case of Glynis Kinnockio when part of the EU useless fat cats caught claiming the £300 a day expenses following signing into attend meetings , and leaving thirty minutes later, when caught in the act she haughtily snapped "No a Comment" she has been along with her pathetic other half been given a TITLE. What a farce...I believe the same system applies in the Lords?
These are the quality of those across the board who have been protected and promoted for failure, fraud and feeding the public lies "in all parties and in high places, and getting mega rich like B'Liar on the proceeds of their lies and deception."

The Vince Cable who lost us something in the region of £2 billion when selling off our Royal Mail? Not only did he 1. Undervalue the business, he 2. Came to a gentleman's agreement that his chosen investors would keep their shares over the long term. A "Gentleman's agreement!", with bankers? He used to be one, he knows there is no such thing. Regardless, a deal such as Royal Mail has, absolutely has, to be watertight with every i dotted and t crossed. What happened? His mates bought low and sold high, that's what happened. One of them made £36m, which is no doubt offshored somewhere, so we don't even get the tax on it. This is one where a Public Inquiry is badly needed, and Cable need to be closely investigated for his part in the debacle - conflict of interest and friends in the right places and all that.

She bought a property in London as her "second home" the one she is supposed to use to aid her in her duties as an MP - to live in when she attends Parliament. So what does she do? She installs mum and dad, but continues to claim back mortgage interest to the tune of £90,000. When she flogs the place she makes a cool £1.1m. No problem there, we all like a good deal when we sell our houses, but her sale raised questions. Not only did she block and parry and bluff and bluster to the committee set up to look after our interests, she got her aide to invoke Leveson to attempt to keep things quiet - the Telegraph has the recording. Grudgingly she has made a non-apology apology and made to pay back £5,800, but she gets to keep the other £92,200 and her Minister's salary. She should be in jail.

I notice that the Prime Minister has supported Miller, the thieving benefits fraudster.

That tells me something. They must be all at it.

I cannot understand why that twerp Cameron supported Miller. If the accounts I've read are accurate, as WM says, she was less than forthcoming during the investigation (which in the event let her off paying back a considerable amount of money), and she also menaced the newspaper that broke the story. But there will be a Tory reshuffle soon (following their anticipated humiliation in the EU elections next month) and I suspect she will quietly get the boot then.

Of course the crooks across every row in the Commons should give up the power of self regulation. £45,000 STOLEN by Miller.

I don't quite agree there, Kate.

There have always been a few rogues in any organisation but there is no doubt at all that nowadays our society has a larger percentage
of thieves and rogues than ever before. Why this has come about I do not know.

Could it be that hardly anyone goes to church now?
Or is it because the way we bring up children has changed?
Is affluence the cause? [My mother used to have a saying that might be appropriate - "Much wants More"].

It is a worrying situation when we can't trust anyone in authority. A situation that could lead to unrest and the kind of civil conflicts
that we have witnessed in other countries of late, followed by the inevitable weeping and gnashing of teeth.

It's true. But the people of the UK seem happy to plod on voting tribally for the same old parties, not noticing that those parties aren't what they once were.
And the press and TV and all the establishment generally seem happy with the status quo as well; because it's very noticable that when any party from outside of what's deemed acceptable start to do well, they get attacked by the big three parties.

For the vast majority of us they are the only options on the ballot paper; that might be on of the reasons so many people do not bother to vote. Things will not change unless and until we either have a revolution or NOTA is a counted vote and can win, forcing a by-election with different candidates.

NOTA will not happen, but a revolution might.
