Interesting article in the Wail today written by Littlejohn. Title "it makes you ashamed to be English".
We have been hung out to dry as a nation. "Worth reading"

Saw it! Some interesting points but on the whole I find him too extreme for my tastes ;)

Yes, same here. I can agree with where he's coming from, but it's how he puts it across. There are some people you just instinctively feel "I'm just not sure about you ..."

Peter Hitchens is much the same. So is our local trendy leftie CofE vicar  (although in his case, I not only disagree with him, I've told him so!) ....

Littlejohn and Hitchens would make a good double act - Littlejohn with his soapbox style and Hitchens with his reams of facts.....

The best at the moment..... Andrew Pierce and Kevin McGuire doing the papers on Sky News, with Anna Botting moderating.

I obviously fall into the category of admiring their openness. Like or dislike they are un afraid to write what a good many of us think.

Hitchens is good; I agree with a lot of what he says, though his ideas on drug addiction are a bit odd. Littlejohn is OK too.

WM, I agree that Pierce is witty and personable but Maguire just comes over as being a one dimensional boor. Once he's said "It's all the fault of the Toooories", that's him done, apart from talking over the top of Pierce as much as he can get away with.

The only problem that I have with the D.M. is that it always manages to make me angry.

It must be the style of its writers. They do it deliberately.

Maybe it is because the DM exposes what has gone rotten in this country, and it fights for
Justice by exposing that rot much of which the majority would rather ignore.
