No info yet!

We had a brief, "very brief" scrap in the news regarding the supposed prosecution of the doctor who performed FM one of many I am sure on a young girl here in UK if I remember rightly Swept under the carpet?? nothing since that one small announcement.
It took a Muslim to originally expose this, following the exposure of seven young ones being rushed to a Birmingham hospital when this brutal act shocking act on children and young teenagers went wrong.
Where is the outrage in the government and authorities regarding this act

Why haven't social services been involved or are they still on a learning curve?

Social Services? I truly believe they like governments don't want to get involved and upset the apple cart. Diversity you know.
Tragedy of the poor woman, and I say poor woman who murdered her three disabled children. What state must her mind be in, she appealed for help from social services, they rebuffed her and more or less ignored her pleas as they have ignored the female mutilation of children whose life of normality is being savagely destroyed

It is one of those subjects nobody wants to tackle.

The case of the doctor has stirred up a hornets nest in the medical world, especially in midwifery, gynaecology and birthing circles. They are claiming to be fearful that anyone needing to carry out procedures to aid births or restorative surgery after birth could be accused aiding FGM. They are missing the point, and muddying the waters.

The 1985 law is aimed at stopping FGM on young girls - infants. Some of these - of the about 66,000 in the UK - have needed surgery post FGM. Why are they not being reported? Why are prosecutions not carried out?
