ITV can
ignore it. I hope they tell the Scots that. After all, we're supposed to be better off together. We're supposed to be all of a kind. This is supposed to be Really, Really important to the UK.
In fact, in England, it's nothing.
Turn it around. What would you vote???

Well playing devil's advocate the rest of the UK don't get a vote on this, so why would we want to see it?
I believe the BBC are planning a debate, to be screened across the UK, however

I was annoyed that it was not mentioned on the BBC News website till late afternoon..... I am more annoyed now that STY player is down, so can't watch it there either - too much demand.
I have given up.

I suspect quite a few do, hence the reason we can't get on to watch it!!
I have emailed Adam Crozier complaining about it not being shown in England.

Yes I know, a valid point. However the NO campaign is making this big point that it's important to ALL the UK. This kind of thing just plays into Salmond's hands.
Whilst the BBC is "planning", this is happening now and is important with less than 7 weeks to go. I decided I needed sleep more than I needed to watch Salmond, which I could have done from freesat. Sadly I have no recorder here so I'll have to just read the BS in the press...

Imo you haven't really missed anything. It was a very poor debate and neither side came out of it as clear winners. I still think the No vote will win.

See my comment to Poll on the other thread.
It all depends on the next 7 weeks. Salmond is caught with a lot of this. Sadly he's not really pushing much of the benefits of Scotland as an independent country. Maybe we should try and change that.....

Or, maybe, we should promote the other view, that Scotland benefits greatly from being a member of the United Kingdom, and that is massively underplayed.

I wonder what the Swiss would say if we asked them to cut their GDP in half and gain the benefits of, erm, minor representation in British Parliament, British world stage negotiation and a share of British debt which they did not control?????
That is the realistic comparison.
Sounding tempting????
No matter how anyone tries to spin it, until North Sea Oil revenues run out, Scotland is massively worse off in the UK.

I saw the highlights on the news. It seemed to be more heat than light! Darling came over badly to me. Interrupting, shouting down, rude, just plain boorish! Salmond seemed to be struggling a bit.
