Cameron is to announce that from October every new domestic policy will be "examined for its impact on the family".
I must be missing something!
Shouldn't it have been the case since the year dot that the impact of domestic policy on, not just families but all citizens, be looked at, then looked at again? And shouldn't old ones that are found to be causing problems be looked at and modified or done away with?
Down the years governments, of all colours, have brought in anti citizen policies and the oppositions have screamed blue murder. However, once in power those former oppositions rarely repeal anything. Funny that!
I am suspicious that in the near future there might be an election coming up.
