With not many results to come in now, it looks as though we stay as we are

Close but clear. Glad the UK has not been dismantled. Apparently according to Alex Salmond in his conceding speech, the 'once in a lifetime opportunity' to achieve independence has now become 'not at this stage'. Watch this space.

I am glad!!! Salmond should crawl back under his rock now IMO, democracy has prevailed, the vote is NO and enough time and money has been spent on this issue. We have bigger fish to fry - no pun intended to Mr Salmond or Ms Sturgeon

Wonderful news, still part of one family, I just hope Westminster upholds their promises, and at the same time review our own constitution. English votes for English MP's.
Not any party in my opinion worth voting for other than UKIP. Hence my vote will be firmly
Given to Farage. Time we got rid of the chancer's in all parties who have reduced this country to a cess pit..

There could be a good outcome for England from this..........
William Hague, alongside a Cabinet committee, will draw up plans to allow English MPs to decide the outcome of laws that only apply to England.

That would be fair Rodo, seeing as Scotland and Wales already have such rights
Kate I am pleased about this result too, but a UK under Farage would only be another type of cesspit IMO xx

Stayed up watching it on the Beeb until about 3:00. Very much mixed views here in Ostrichville.
I'm disappointed they didn't get a Yes vote, as it primarily means Westminster has survived intact. Our political masters may have had a fright, but I was hoping for something much more cataclysmic! Westminster will have to keep its promises on DevoMax, though, so we shall see what we shall see. English Tory MPs are unhappy, and I don't blame them. I'll be unhappy as well unless I see something positive come out of it for RumpUK.
I think there will be quite an aftermath, both sides of the border ..... She may be singing, but I don't think the fat lady is into the final aria by any stretch of the imagination.

Although its the result I expected I'm still gutted. I stayed up until bout 3.30 and went toddling off to bed very disappointed. However the majority have said "No" so I'll just have to sup it up!
Yesterday will have brought a change to British politics, it'll be interesting to see how it pans out.
Off to eat breakfast now and catch up with the news.
