Her story sounds incredible and I initially wondered why any woman would stay with someone who raped therm once never mind 300 times. However, the police do have the evidence for what she says and her ex has been jailed for 12 years, so her story must be true.

Watching her on ITV she appeared to be vulnerable, very trusting and not really questioning his behaviour even though others could see a darker side to him.

A very strange case.

She must surely have been drugged. You couldn't possibly sleep through an assault with various household objects (the mind boggles) unless you were deeply unconscious and not just in a normal sleep.

She was drugged, and the police had the filmed evidence, so it was definitely rape and of a particularly nasty kind. What a betrayal of trust

If he was drugging her in order to rape her he should have got a lot more than 12 years.

but the article does say that blood and urine were negative and hair was inconclusive
