Buying Votes.

Oh right, glad we cleared that up. Because Miliband isn't doing anything of the sort is he? At least Osborne is telling the truth. Miliband is lying his Ass off to try and by voters who hope he'll open the floodgates of money and give them what they want, whether the country can afford it or not.

He tells them he can tax and punish Businesses to get the extra cash to give away and it' wont affect jobs. No, no, these businesses which can operate in any country in the world are going to stay in the UK because...... Well they'd be such good guys.....

Sadly all too many are going to believe this BS and the Guardian is going to come out with it more and more as the election nears.....

I had to laugh at this. Osborne is buying votes? Yes, it's what politicians do in front of elections.

But when Labour have done it, their promises are reported with a straight face.

One quick Googleof "Labour promise" reveals that Labour have promised in the last few weeks to (deep breath):-

Double paternity leave
Force tax havens to play fair
Give Scotland more spending power
A jobs guarantee for the long term unemployed
A rise in the minimum wage
To stamp out homophobic bullying in schools
To fund the NHS through a mansion tax
To double the number of Sure Start places
To save renters £600 each
Freeze Gas and Electric prices
Cut income tax
25 hours of free child care for three and four year olds
Ban zero hour contracts

etc etc etc...

Christ almighty, it's easier to list the things Miliband hasn't promised...

They haven't promised a free KFC family bucket and a lottery win for everybody yet, but give them time...

That's a deal breaker, I don't like KFC. Now if the promise was an Aagrah takeaway with naans I would promise to vote for them. Then on voting day I would do what they do with their promises: fair's fair.

And I would offshore the lottery win pdq.

You know what is so incredible about all this rhetoric. Apart from the fact that the UK has about as much ability to fund these spending splurges as Greece does, it is that Energy prices are falling.

So if Miliband froze energy prices, he would disadvantage some of the most vulnerable in the country.....

Did any of the press pick it up? Of course not.

BTW, I notice Cameron is trying to egg businesses into giving pay splurges because Oil is low.

Let me Paraphrase Mr Cameron. "Low Oil prices are for today, core wage increases are forever".........

Or as they would put it at home...

Nae Chance!

That's it!

I have thrown the "Off" switch.

When the colour of a campaign van becomes the prime topic of political debate it is time to give up.

I give up.

They kept Miliband away from the CBI so he didn't put his foot in it any more and he has already done.

The press had to report something.

Pitifu isn't it?

I hope the pink van for women backfires on them. I am fed up hearing about rights for women. What I want to see is equal rights for both men and women.
