There will come a time when those on watch lists will be too numerous to monitor; it might already be the case.

It would not surprise me to learn that some of these nut-jobs were tacitly allowed to leave.

They can come up with watch lists, home detentions, tags round ankles and whatever else.

Any sort of border control needs boots on the ground and there aren't enough of them. Until there are this will keep on happening.

In fact, I'd suspect that he is now a prime target for a one way trip to Jordan. Hopefully they won't burn him in a cage though, it would take much of their legitimacy away.

I hear they both do a good line in "humane" execution if they choose to.

The media infatuation with the three girls who freely went to Syria to become terrorist's brides, and the revelation of who Jihadi John is, has got out of hand.

Rather than putting people off becoming (more) radicalised it has turned these people into cause célèbres and created an aura of mystique about their lifestyles and goals.

It has become a peep show of the worst kind.

I quite agree Frank. There is far too much on television news about him. They will be thriving on the oxygen of publicity.
