The story does not appear on the BBC website. Not in Home, or UK news, or Businees and as the Politics section is supended during the election it is not in the Elction 2015 section, but we are told that candidates are having a 'keepy-uppy' football competition.
It has been hidden from view as though it never existed.
On Sky it is relegated to number 14 and is in the Other News section.
You did of course know that a UKIP candidate was spoken to by police for handing out sausage roles at a campaign event. The candidate is also a 'quoter' he quotes people. Look:
"The best way to take control over a people and control them utterly is to take a little of their freedom at a time, to erode rights by a thousand tiny and almost imperceptible reductions.
"In this way, the people will not see those rights and freedoms being removed until past the point at which these changes cannot be reversed."
It is a good quote and there are many historical examples of it in action if the police and journalists could be bothered to look.
However it is from one Herr Hitler, and therefore it is deduced that the candidate is not only a sausage roll peddler, he is a Nazi sausage roll peddler.
