And they were and have been protected by the police some of whom we have been informed were in the club and everyone else . Vote for the filth in the next election , not one of them. A number of MPs, lead by Simon Danczuk, wrote an open letter calling for the resignation/sacking of the head of the CPS and for the Janner trial to go ahead in his absence claiming that there were precedents in law for such action.

A lawyer giving his opinion on Sky confirmed what Danczuk had said and agreed that there was nothing to stop Janner being tried in absentia.

Given all of that the whole thing stinks of a cover-up: another one.

This disgraceful act is still being covered up, the filthy perverts are and have always been protected by those in power as has trafficking...Doctors who have abused patients are still allowed to practice in the NHS. What a nation we are. Abuse has been going on for centuries just look at the Catholic Church, The grooming of youngsters in towns across the country Rochdale, Oxford in the news recently.

A grown man who sexually abuses a child is not fit to live in our society.

Do not confuse paedophiles (from the elite) with child abusers (from the community).

Paedophiles tend to prey on those who are pre-puberty, whether they be male or female.

Child abusers tend to target vulnerable females, mostly, from outside their own communities.

They are similar, but not the same.

Both types need to be challenged and treated appropriately - cut their dangley bits off or sew them up.

Nothing has changed over the past century, in one of the homes I was in I was fostered out to a supposed Male Foster Father for a short period, there were three of us we had to put the chair under the door handle to prevent him entering the bedroom where three of us were sleeping. I ran away as always gave myself up when I got hungry. I was considered a "Waif and Stray" in those days. Not sure which of the titles were appropriate the only straying I did was running away from those rotten institutions.

Beg to differ slightly, Kate in that "No one will ever recover" from abuse as a child. I cannot recall any particular effect bad or otherwise and I have really only recalled the incidents due to the recent furore over the subject. I think a lot of memories could be jogged when some compensation might be involved.
But then I was at a public school and things were different in many ways. I recall one boy showing us the dreadful weals on his bottom from a caning, he had to stand in class for a week, I expect if a master did that today he would be jailed. Of course if injury or much fear is involved then I would concede it could have a lasting effect.
