The Hazard of being a Ballboy .....

Well, whilst Chris Foy had no real alternative to sending off Eden Hazard at Swansea last night, I think my sympathies are entirely with the Chelsea player.

During my inevitable "ballboy" activities at non-league matches, I've always done my best to return the spherical object to the field of play as efficiently as possible - even from the bottom of a steep, nettle-infested grass bank at Ellistown FC this season - so I've never incurred the wrath of any of the combatants, and that it what the wretched Charlie Morgan should have done. If all he got was a kick in the ribs, he should count himself lucky!

The boy done well.

He perfectly mimicked the antics of the pros - roll about a bit, pull a strained face, fake a faint, get treatment, waste a bit of time.

The lad has a bright future ahead of him.

Hazard, on the other hand, should be hung. Thuggery, ABH, GBH, child abuse, time wasting. The man is a danger to society... and he is a role model.

It's time to introduce technology into football - goal line cameras or similar, off side replays, laser annihilation of unacceptable conduct.

Or.... get over it and move on. ;)

What a nasty little oik he is. What a nasty big oik he is going to be when he grows up - if he ever does.

The footballer should have kicked him harder imo.

Hear hear. Hazard has now been charged by the FA! What a bunch of prissy morons.
Charlie Morgan wasn't even kicked in the ribs - despite all his rolling and writhing he was uninjured. If a professional football kicks someone in the ribs, they would most certainly not have to fake rolling around - all the pain would be real.
I honestly can't believe the FA. Swansea will get away totally unpunished for using this unpleasant little chav as a ballboy and failing to control him.

I believe him when he said he kicked the ball and not the boy.

My feelings exactly.
The ballboy was even saying on Twitter before the game about time wasting.
