Population growth = 64.5 million UK total
Posted: 25 Jun 2015, 14:18
As of June 2014 there were 64,596,800 people living in the UK, 491,100 more than the previous year.
*259,700 added from net migration
*226,200 from natural growth
*25% of all births in 2013 were to mothers born outside the UK
What we do not know about the natural growth figure is the number born to 1st generation migrants - those born here but of migrant parents. Those in these 'communities' have higher birth rates than the indigenous peoples.
If we add the expected total to June 2015 that would make 65 million of us.
If we add any of the various estimates for "unknown" illegal immigrants the total could go to 72 million, or more
Non of our political leaders will put a figure on when the UK will be "Full UP", not even Nigel Farage.
If the rate rise continues we will reach and official figure of 70 million by 2020 and an unofficial figure of 80 million +. We have got to do something, firstly, to stop the rise and, secondly, reduce the total. We cannot go on doing nothing.
