British.. Or not...

I've been holding this one for a while until I had time to give it a bit of justice.
It's a story in the Telegraph about gangs in the UK either paying or coercing UK citizens to smuggle illegals through Calais in their own cars.
So there I was reading the article...
When I fell over this statement. NOTHING was said about it. NOTHING was made of it.
I just stopped reading the article. I couldn't get past it. As if this were totally normal. As far as I know the Telegraph is a UK paper with English speaking staff. Although I could be wrong, perhaps they're all aliens???? Some may think so.
They're lucky I'm not in charge of dealing with illegal immigrant smuggling. If I were, he and his family would be stripped of their british citizenship and summarily ejected from the country back to where he came from. Out the back of a Hercules on a static line if necessary.
I must admit that it's not often that I'm flabbergasted at what I read, but this casual "acceptance" of a situation which so totally unacceptable is just beyond by credulityometer. My incredulity gage is banging on OVERLOAD.....
Honestly if this is how it's going to be then I see no reason to ever return to the UK. Because, simply, it won't be my home any more. It will belong to someone else....

Among the Britons caught trying to bring migrants illegally into the UK was Salah, 43, from Birmingham, who was earlier this month handed a six month suspended sentence by a court in Boulogne-sur-Mer for transporting a Somali national in his car who was carrying a false Dutch passport.
