The filling is now on the traditional specialities guaranteed (TSG) list.
It does not matter what the crust is, but don't you dare call your apple pies 'Bramleys' unless the apples came from Kent, East Anglia or the West Midlands.
You have been warned.
However, Yorkshire Puddings can be made anywhere and by anyone. We generous folk from God's County have licenced the use of 'Yorkshire Pudding' to anyone who can mix flour, egg, milk and salt into some sort of batter and then cook it in an oven. The result might not be anything like, but hey, if you do not try you will not succeed.
Happy Yorkshire Pud battering, but please, don't make them round - that's not on.
