It's been reported that he's been taken out, by a direct hit to a vehicle. I certainly hope it's true. Mick reckons they will have probably tracked him using his mobile phone! Strange to think that something as prosaic as that might well have done the trick, but then I guess we are all 'electronically tagged' by our devices these days!

He's no loss to the human race, and I hope his 'virgins' all have beards! The only shame is that he was almost certainly dead before he knew what was happening - unlike those poor beheaded victims

Personally I'd like to see the DNA results first.

It's all too easy to fake an electronic signature if need be. Saddam saw to this in Desert Storm. A 100 gallon barrel quarter full of petrol and ignited has exactly the same signature as a launching scud in the first few seconds...

Until we know for sure, that 1% is a real possibility.

However I'm a big proponent of "Live by the Sword die in little smoking pieces". Hopefully. Sadly they can't just line all the rest of them up and finish them off too. Although I see the Kurds are now on a roll and are rolling them up city by city. The Iraqi and Iraninan Militia, on the other hand, appear not to be doing well at all.

DNA or no DNA does it really matter.

I do hope that he is dead and was blown to smithereens, but I do fear that this news will make him a martyr to some. Better to let it be known that in the grand scheme of things he was nothing more than a flea and that we are out to exterminate fleas whoever they are and wherever we find them.

I must also rant at the BBC. Yet again. The reporting of this on the TV news yesterday was appalling.

1. Why call him his media name, over and over again? His name was Mohammed Emwasi, and he was not a celebrity.
2. Why broadcast interviews with his victims' relatives, exclusively focussing on their sorrow and regrets he was killed. Yes they are entitled to those feelings, but here's a time and a place for such interviews, and it is not in the initial reporting of something we should be celebrating - the demise of a traitor.
3. Why broadcast an old clip of his actual speech in which he blames MI6 for his radicalisation? Oh yes, it's all our fault isn't it?

The only thing they didn't get around to reporting was Corbyn's naive apologist hand-wringing that we should have arrested Emwasi rather than despatching him. They probably ran out of time .....

The BBC journalism is the pits nowadays. It's nothing more than apologist left wing fundamentalism.

On a different note, they won the worst, most pitiful, reporting line on the Paris incident last night.

"We saw people running out of the building, some injured, some dead".... About what we should expect from the BBC today!

As for Corbyn.. It was a US rocket... Emwais was tried, found guilty, sentenced and executed. All between pressing the button and the missile hitting.

Sounds fair to me! I'd never have voted for Labour without Corbyn. You'll see me in a coffin before I ever vote for someone like Corbyn.
