So there I was reading an article in the Irish Times about Schengen open borders when I came across this

Apart from one Syrian passport found near the body of one of the Paris attackers – which spawned a reckless linking of refugees and terrorists by some commentators – most of the perpetrators were EU citizens with European passports.

Yes, just about every single Islamic terror attack in the EU has been launched by EU citizens.

Most fundamentally, this opens up serious questions for countries such as France and Belgium about their failure to integrate disaffected Muslim youths into society

Actually I don't believe the French are worrying about such things as why Moslems are not integrated. Right now they are worried bout finding out where the terrorists are, either killing them or imprisoning them with the emphasis on killing them and getting rid of as many more potential terrorists as the possibly can. In fact I expect France to eject hundreds of "non integrated" troublemakers as soon as they possibly can.

Belgian airwaves were filled with programmes this week wondering where Belgium has gone wrong in terms of social integration

My teeth are just about surviving, but not by much. Something I am well aware of is that most immigrants in Belgium are trying to get into the UK, because life is easier, we do more to "integrate" and they have a better standard of living. Funnily enough Belgium has not had their 7/7 but we have. Belgium has a much lower level of internal Moslem terrorist threat than we do.

I have a simple message for the apologists of Moslem aggression. If you want to integrate them, you need to give them total control of your country and convert your country to Islam. If you don't then this will be the result. They are terrorists, not reasonable people and they have never been taught anything other than that their religion is superior and that everyone who does not believe it is inferior to them. Adding appeasement to that just makes it all worse.

As a side thought, there is more terrorism going on "inside" the "Moslem" countries these people come from than outside. I wonder what they are doing wrong in not integrating these poor, misunderstood, radicalised, young men (they are almost always young men).

On a slightly different note I doubt the French President will be booking any more visits to Israel. I doubt he would like the questions.

Just how much warning did you give the Syrians of the bombing raids and how many civilians did you get out of the way?
How many civilians have you killed so far?
Are you not guilty of war crimes?

Integration is a red herring, I think. We are not truly integrated, never have been and it isn't attainable anyway.

If one sector of society has beliefs which hold them apart from others (and this goes for more than Muslims), then you can't "integrate" them. Their beliefs won't allow it.

What you can do is peacefully co-exist; and the Hindus, Sikhs, Chinese, Jews etc seem to manage this quite easily. So do most Muslims but there is a minority which to put it mildly, does not.

If the governments of Europe want to spend billions on trying to integrate the un-integratible I would think that the main product of this would be massive resentment by the majority and by every other minority who by just getting on with their lives, get ignored.

In my experience and this is experience with both friends and family, even those who quietly coexist, without either accepting or fully integrating, pass on these beliefs and prejudices to their children.

Those children who have never known the reality of the environments their parents came from, are more easily radicalised because the parents never pass on the bad parts, only the hard held beliefs which created the environment they left to escape. Therefore they have a totally biased and black and white view of the world which does not bear much resemblance to reality.

Add to that the ease and comfort of the UK living (even unemployed it is far, far, better than many places their parents chose to leave) and it is easy to convince these young that it is all the fault of the UK, France, Belgium, EU, for the state of these Middle Eastern countries. These radicalised EU born have no clue about the real issues which created the poverty, wars and violence which we see today.

It’s why I get so annoyed about the whole “failed to integrate” bit and it’s why I am never surprised when it is the radicalised UK/EU born who carry out these acts.

Watch this space. Hollande will have to act and act way beyond his true inclinations just to have a chance of fending off Le Pen and FN. None of those actions will be conciliatory to the Moslem faith or to any form of fundamentalism.

My view is that Moslems do not get radicalised, as such, they are indoctrinated, brainwashed and radicalised from birth. Their religion controls every aspect of their lives and makes demands on them, demands they have to obey.

If Islam did not exist today and someone tried to establish it it would not be ridiculed, as happens with Scientology or the Moonies, it would be banned outright.

I’d love to see Cameron trying to force the first Moslem Gay marriage though their religion. They get a free pass whilst the Christians get hammered over and over again. All it does is set up expectations that sections of the society can set their own rules and live under their own laws. Then, when they finally get so bad that nobody can ignore it any more, we find dozens of them going to prison for a long time. But we know that the dozens are just the very tip of the iceberg.

The Jesuits say “Give me a boy until he is 7 and I will give you the man”. It is exactly the same thing with the main difference being that no Jesuit would ever be allowed to exert that kind of influence on a child through the school years now. It would be challenged and they would be in trouble.

I think I shall change my terminology if ever asked. When someone says “we have failed to integrate them” my answer will be “yes we have abjectly failed to make them integrate into our society!”.

At some point the rest of the UK will catch up with us. Sadly the path to that catching up will be paved in the blood and lives of the innocent.
