Is not contagious.
Lack of popularity is!
They say a picture speaks a thousand words. To me it says much, much less that that. It says to me there is no opposition worth of the name
I'll take that till after the next election. However I don't see how it can last that long.

I understand what you are saying about Corbyn.
However, I saw a long shot of the chamber during the Strategic Defence and Security Review and there cannot have been more than 1/10 of MPs there.
Yes, it is appalling that HM's Opposition did not turn up because of their in-house political reasons, but what about the rest of them? I mean, it is only a review of the security and defence of the nation that employs them. You would think they would take some interest!

I would. It is their job and they must do it.
However there is a world of difference when a bunch of back benchers, who believe they are only wanted for their vote and may even believe their best work is in the community... And the entire Front bench being absent and the back benchers trying to get as far away from Corbyn as they could....
It does make an amusing picture. If I wanted a strong opposition, however, I would be significantly perturbed by it. As I believe the Tory party is as likely to vote Labour on "vote winning" issues, I don't need Labour themselves in place to defeat the government....
