Chris Huhne has admitted that he got his wife to take speeding points for him and thus perverted the course of justice.

He has changed his plea to guilty.

Blimey! He's been denying this for years.

The unworthy thought occurs that he must have somehow found out they had the goods on him, or he would never have owned up.

It will be a certain jail sentence.

Will he have to resign as an MP?

He already has resigned. They say the by-election is going to be a really frantic battle between LibDems and Conservatives.

Now just imagine if he'd beaten Cleggy in that Leadership contest a few years back ......
