More cabbage

Any hints for what else to do with cabbages? I've got 12 that will be ready in a month or so. 6 white, 6 red. We are not normally cabbage eaters :roll: then there's about another 6 that should be ripe in about 3 months.

Can it be stored or preserved in any edible way?

Don't know about storage, but for red cabbage I'm not keen on the usual stewy thing with apple and all, but love this:

Shred red cabbage, boil till just soft, drain then stir in a dollop of sour cream or creme fraiche and a spoonful of paprika :)
