Sparkly nail varnish!

Postby Osc » 15 Dec 2013, 13:13

I thought I would get some glittery nail varnish for Christmas and bought Rimmel Space Dust. Put it on for the first time last night and it looks really nice but feels rather strange - instead of smooth and shiny, it's sort of matt with bits in and feels rough to the touch :o The colour is Luna Love.

It does look pretty, I had one I used on my toenails Osc, it was a nightmare to get off!

I like the one I have, it's clear and sparkly, so you just put it on over whatever colour you like :D
Or on its own, which shows the chips less ;) :x

I have a couple of sparkly ones too...must wear one for the theatre now on Saturday! :)

I found if I just held a pad soaked in nail varnish remover for longer than normal it did lift (eventually ;) )

That looks fab Osc!

I love glittery nail polishes, I'm wearing one at the moment actually, just a cheap on I got in Boots. I think my favourite is Rimmel's Disco Ball though.
There are lots of different effects though at the moment aren't there? Sand effect and concrete effect are two I saw the other day.

And The Charlatans and Johnny Marr one week later

They do look pretty. I think the last time I wore nail varnish on my finger nails was when my friend paid for me to have it done for a wedding. They divorced and the bride now has a four year old with someone else, thats how long ago it was :D
